Sales Representative

We are seeking a reliable and highly ambitious person to work with our variety of solutions to new and existing customers in a B2B setting. In this role, you will focus on prospecting, business development and building long-term partnerships with your customers via networking, cold calling and customer meetings. We are looking for the immediate placement of a competitive, confident, and self-driven individual to fill this growth-oriented opportunity from our Winnipeg office.

Position Requirements

The primary objective of the sales representative is to meet established sales goals by delivering real value to our customers through differentiated products and services. The sales representative will be supported in this initiative with tools and promotional resources designed to have impact. The successful representative will report directly to the President and demonstrate the ability to target and manage their territory strategically while operating within
an assigned budget. They will also need to be a highly engaged, positive team player and show a high degree of customer focus.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement quarterly sales plan to achieve and exceed sales goals and objectives. The expectation is to increase utilization of item Central products within specified target markets while successfully growing that customer base organically at the same time.
  • Educate target markets and other referral sources regarding the benefits of item Central products and services.
  • Oversee and ensures customer relationships are maintained at premium levels
  • Consult with customer after sale to provide ongoing customer support
  • Fiscally manage the territory by controlling expenses, product returns, and product inventory.
  • Provide product training, technical service support, including consultation at staff inservices and Centers of Influence (COI) seminars.
  • Coordinate daily support activities and customer activities at meetings as assigned.
  • Participate in Trade Shows, Networking events and Speaking Engagements, etc.
  • Maintain working knowledge of products, services, and procedures including any training required.
